Frater "Wikipedia": reminder

Just a reminder that I have a Frater Wikipedia at another site: uikipediafrater.blogspot.com.

This site does not show up on Google. I asked Google why, and they said because I have a link to in this blog, they won't list it on their search engine.

This doesn't seem right to me, because the wiki is considerably different from what is found in this blog. Readership is down on the wiki. You might consider clicking the link above.

About Lingua Sistemfrater

Image
LINGUA SISTEMFRATER, "Brotherhood language," or simply Frater, was invented in 1957 by Vietnamese linguist Pham Xuan Thai. It was made to be a very easy international language. The vocabulary contains about 1000 word roots. The words have a very broad meaning; for example, the word optik  means both "eye" and "see." Other words can be made by combining the word roots. Opposites are formed with -ne ; for example, fasil  means "easy," fasilne means "difficult." The result is that the language can be learned very quickly. The alphabet has only 18 letters: ABDEFGIJKLMNOPRSTU. Vowels are pronounced as they are in most languages. The only consonant pronounced differently from English is the J; it sounds like the letter Z (a French J should be close enough as well). Grammar is simple as well. Sentence order is subject, verb, object. Words that describe other words come after those words. A dictionary and the 12 rules of grammar can be found at...

Around the World in Eighty Days

This book can be downloaded in PDF format here .  A hard copy of this book can be purchased here . Around Earth Complete in-Time Eight-Ten Day  Peri geo komple intem oktadeka jur <- Around Earth Complete in-Time Eight-ten Day per Jul Bern <- by Jules Verne Foreword Lingua Sistemfrater (meaning ”Brotherhood Langage”), or simply Frater, is one of the easiest languages ever seen in the world. It is man-made — and it was made to be very easy to learn. It is an isolating language; words never change by adding grammatical ”endings” to words, and compound words may be freely formed by connecting these words together. Unlike English, words that modify or describe other words come after the words they modify. If you can get used to the way Yoda talks in Star Wars, this should be no problem for you. Lingua Sistemfrater is considered a minimalist language, that is, it tries to get by on a very small vocabulary, like pidgin languages. But as you will see, there are other...
